This is what it’s like to have a sister

When I called Erin today, she answered her phone by saying, “What’s up you son of a b****?” Which may sound odd, but that’s a typical greeting for the two of us. She then said, “You wroted the shortest blog ever yesterday, and I’m in the middle of something. So what do you have to say for yourself?”

Keep in mind that Erin talks super fast, like an auctioneer. At times, I have to remind her to breathe between sentences. So I told her I would blog today and tossed out some ideas to her. She shot all of them down. So I then said, “What do you want me to write about- hookers and drugs?! I can’t write about that kind of scandalous stuff cause I don’t do that stuff!” That got a chuckle out of her, and calmed her down a bit.

One thing she said that I LOVED was that when she reads my blogs, she can ‘hear’ me narrating. I thought that was pretty accurate. If you hear the way I talk and hang around me enough, that will start to happen.

For those without sisters, that is what it’s like to have one- within nanoseconds you go from anger to bliss. You can call eachother offensive names but mean it as a term of endearment. And you can blog about them for the whole world to see it. :)

So here are some photos of  my sister, who is responsible for checking my blog an obscene amount of times on a daily basis. Her boyfriend Mike’s eyes are closed.

This is an EXCELLENT description. Even though I had no sisters growing up, my two daughters who are 12 and 9 definitely do as you described on a daily basis. Whew! I guess they’re normal then???

Sisters are the best! That being said, I have not let mine know that I blog cuz then I can’t talk about her. :D
